Titho Tweve

Founder-led leadership rooted in the belief that when farmers succeed, the whole region grows.

Leading Kilawa's vision

As Managing Director, Titho Tweve sets the strategic direction of Kilawa Enterprises Limited and carries day-to-day responsibility for the company's growth across its agro-input, produce and processing businesses.

Under his leadership, Kilawa has grown from a single input store into a multi-value-chain agribusiness operating eight stores, 200 hectares of farmland, a dedicated rice processing plant and a logistics fleet — while building working relationships with more than 12,000 smallholder farmers.

Focus areas

  • Overall corporate strategy and partnerships
  • Farmer aggregation and value-chain development
  • Investment, donor and financial-institution relationships
  • Long-term growth across East and Southern Africa

Approach

Titho champions a farmer-first model: put quality inputs within reach, buy harvests fairly, and add value close to where crops are grown. That philosophy underpins every partnership Kilawa enters and every program it delivers.

When a farmer in our highlands succeeds, the whole region grows with them.
